Secure Shopping Guarantee

We take security very seriously.  All credit card and personal information is encrypted utilizing Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) server technology before being transmitted over the internet.  All information that you provide during the shopping process is encrypted for your protection and held completely confidential. We guarantee that every purchase you make will be 100% safe.  This means that you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your credit card as a result of shopping at our store.  
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you responsible for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges. In the event of any unauthorized use of your credit card, please notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
 
Satisfaction Commitment

Carlwoodsafety.net guarantees 100% satisfaction.  However, if you are unsatisfied with an item that you have purchased, you may return the item for an exchange or refund within 30 days.*  Items must be in new, resalable condition. For returns and return procedures please refer to our return policy. *PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT CERTAIN ITEMS ARE NON-RETURNABLE.  This includes any personalized items (including custom vests, rainwear, …..), and opened merchandise.  If you have any questions about whether or not a particular item can be returned, please contact customer service prior to placing your order.

Shipping Policy

Our current order processing time is 1-2 business days for in-stock merchandise. During this processing time, your online order is transmitted to our fulfillment warehouse, safely packed, and processed for shipment as quickly as possible.   Orders with express shipping selected (2-Day or Next Day) are typically processed and shipped within 1 business day. However, please be aware that "2-Day" and "Next Day" indicates the estimated delivery time after the order has been picked up by the shipping carrier, and does not include the processing time at our fulfillment center.  

For backordered items, orders begin processing as soon as the backordered item is returned to stock. You can expect your order to ship 1-2 business days after the backordered item is returned to stock.   Certain items (which require special preparation for shipment, or customization) may require a longer processing time. We make every effort to accurately set this expectation by listing shipping times in the item description pages.   We want to ensure that your order is shipped to you as quickly as possible. If you believe that your order has experienced a delay in shipment which exceeds the normal processing and shipment time, please let us know by contacting the Customer Support Department at 727-209-3395.  

For UPS, USPS, and R&L Freight deliveries, Carlwoodsafety.net is only responsible for a package until the carrier confirms that the order has been delivered.  If the tracking information we have for you shows that the order has been delivered, but you have not received your package please contact our Customer Support Department at 727-209-3395.  We will be happy to investigate the matter with the shipper, but we cannot credit orders if the tracking number shows the package as being delivered (with or without signature).    

Shipping Costs

Products are shipped F.O.B. shipping point with freight costs and handling fees paid by Carlwoodsafety.net and charged to the customer.  C.O.D. shipments are not permitted.  Other terms and conditions may apply for freight collect, export orders, hazardous materials, special handling or shipments outside the contiguous United States.  Any extra charges incurred for additional services, such as customer's carrier or special handling by the carrier, must be paid by the customer.  Title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon tender of shipment to the carrier. 

If product is damaged in transit, customer must file claim with the carrier.   Shipping costs will be noted per item during the checkout process or you may estimate shipping costs from the cart before checkout.  We will automatically default to the least expensive method of shipping available, but you will have the option to upgrade your shipping to a different service during the checkout process.  If Standard shipping is not available for the item you selected, your shipping level will default to Expedited service.   Shipping cost is calculated on a "per item" or "per pound" basis and is based on the level of shipping service selected (Standard, Expedited, Express, Freight).  Check out our Shipping Rates to determine how your item's shipping will be calculated.

Return Policy

Carlwoodsafety.net guarantees your satisfaction and offers you returns within 30 days of order receipt.  To insure that your returned merchandise is credited properly, you must first contact Customer Service to obtain a return authorization number and package label.  Packages without proper return authorization will not be accepted.   Items returned will be refunded to the credit card used; if you paid by check, you will be issued a merchandise credit.  We do not issue refund checks. 

Item(s) must be returned in new condition, in original boxes, and with all paper work, parts, and accessories to ensure full credit.  Please note that shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.   To return an item for any reason within 30 days within order receipt:   Send an e-mail message to our customer service department at service@carlwoodsafety.net.  Put “Return Authorization Needed” on the subject line to help us process your request quickly.  In the body of the e-mail message please specify your Order ID number, the reason for return, and list the item(s) you are returning.   

We will provide a return authorization number within 24 hours and will e-mail a return label to you.  Pack the item(s) that you are returning to us enclose a copy of your packing slip and wrap the package securely.  Affix the label that was e-mailed to you and ship the package via US Mail or UPS.  Be sure to apply adequate postage.    Within 2-3 business days after we have received your package, our returns department will issue your credit.  We will notify you via e-mail of the amount of your refund.
